B. R. Baliga, General Manager (Exports), Lamina International, spoke to us on his company’s presence at Automechanika Dubai.

Automechanika Dubai Participation

Since we have not had any trade fair in the last two years, we are keen on meeting customers here and engaging in good business discussions with them.

Earlier we used to have only one or two major Automechanika shows around the globe. Nowadays we have events for specific regions which makes them more focused and provide a platform for quality discussions with local customers and channel partners.

We are expecting to welcome local customers from both OE and aftermarket segments. We already have regular customers in the Middle East region and are looking to meet them and also identify potential customers and partners in this part of the world.

Export Biz

At present, around 40% of our business comes from exports. We export to over 25 countries around the globe of which the major ones include Europe, Mexico, US and Middle East.
