Introduces next-generation 180 hp motor grader and 4.5-ton class wheel loader
The year 2018 has been a phenomenal one for LiuGong India, both in terms of market sales and product portfolio expansion. Registering an annual growth of around 55 per cent in the year, the company has introduced its complete range of wheel loaders and excavators in the Indian market, along with the latest motor graders, compactors, dozers and forklifts.
At bC Expo India 2018, the company made its presence felt with an excellent display of its products, along with the unveiling of the next-generation motor grader CLG4180D (180 hp) and 4.5-ton class wheel loader CLG 848H. “This is a very important platform for us, with the northern region being our strong forte, to expand our wide customer base. With the launch of the new products, LiuGong boasts of a complete set of solutions to address all applications”, said Mr. Nischal Mehrotra, Director – Sales and Services.
The Chairman of Liugong Group and LiuGong Machinery – China, Mr. Zeng Guang’an, who was present at the event, said: “As the world’s biggest manufacturer of wheel loaders, we continue setting new milestones, and our endeavor is to build a better tomorrow with the help of the ‘Make in India’ initiative. India is one of the vital export hubs for LiuGong”.
Asked about the importance of the Indian market for the brand, he said that the Indian CE market is one of the fastest growing across the globe. “In the past decade or so, the market has gained a lot in terms of size and demand. The customers are becoming more mature, while many new players are entering the domestic market to seize the new-found opportunities”.
He added: “That way India is the second most promising market for us, next to China. In the last 10 years, we have gained much competence and confidence in India and have substantially expanded our local manufacturing and aftersales support. Adhering to the emerging demand and future prospects, in the last two years, LiuGong has started offering high-capacity, advanced machines to make our presence felt”.
