With innovation set as its vision, the Manatec R&D team has been focusing on developing indigenous technology to meet the global standards in garage equipment like wheel aligners, wheel balancers, tyre changers, PUC equipment, lifting equipment, and tyre inflators and has been recognized by the Government and various institutions for its accomplishments in areas like technology, quality, entrepreneurship, aftersales service and export excellence ever since its inception in 1987.
At the Auto Expo 2016 Manatec is launching its two new 3D wheel aligners for multi-axle vehicles, indigenously developed, and 3D wheel aligner in-built in lift, the most awaited equipment in the garage industry that saves space and is user friendly. Tyre pressure monitoring gauge is one more indigenous product to be launched by the company.
Awards galore
In 2015, Manatec was given “the Best Company of the Year” Award by TRILA for its contribution to the tyre & rubber industry. The company was presented the prestigious KAIZEN National Award and was recognized by CII as one of the top 25 companies in India for its sustained efforts towards quality, production and technology. In December 2015, Manatec bagged the EEPC Award for Excellence in Exports for the ninth consecutive year.
While regularly upgrading its technology by introducing various models in its manufacturing range to suit customer needs and meet global demand, Manatec is now ready for introducing a few more products like AC gas charger and nitrogen filling stations. All this under the able guidance of its founder Chairman, Mr. R. Mananathan, who has over 50 years of service in the auto industry to his credit. Mr. M. Kalaiichelvan, Managing Director, who plays a very important role in the export business, is keen on taking forward the company as one of the top global players and puts in extra efforts towards achieving the prestigious DEMING Award this year.
The garage equipment manufacturer has its state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Pondicherry, spread across 10,000 sq.mt., with over 300 technical and marketing professionals. It has more than 60 customers in India and over 50 distributors overseas.
