Masats will exhibit in IAA Hanover, the different range of doors for buses and coaches, and will exhibit for the first time the new Lift KV5 for coaches.
The KV5 Lift is a hydraulic vertical lift for coaches, a new range for high-floored vehicles that complete the wide range of KS7 lifts of the company.
The lift is fitted behind the rear axle, with maximum space efficiency. It allows access to people with special needs through a door devoted just for this, providing an additional access to the vehicle. The folding and stowing is easy, and the speed when laden or empty is the same, thanks to the double effect cylinder. The operation is simple, activated by a control panel. The system is automatic, except for the handrails, which are manual. In the event of an electricity outage, the lift can be used manually.
The simplicity of the KV5 lift is reflected in its easy installation. Its proven sturdiness, as it has been tested at 350 kg, makes it suitable for intensive use. Another of its qualities is the low maintenance required. Masats has 2 versions, 1600 or 1800, depending on the height of the floor.
At IAA Hanover, Masats will also exhibit:
Sliding double door 028C
Telescopic ramp RT1 for city buses
Inswinging door 029G and Manual ramp RM2 for city buses
Outswinging door 015 with DM3 module control
Masats has close to 50 years of experience in the public transport sector and has become a benchmark company in the design and production of automatic doors and accessibility systems for road and rail vehicles. At the facilities, where more than 300 people are employed, products are designed in Catia V5 and are validated in a large prototype department, where they undergo the most rigorous testing.
