myTVS enters quick commerce segment for Distribution of Automotive Parts

myTVS, India’s largest digital automotive aftermarket platform, and part of the $3 billion TVS Mobility Group, today announced its entry into quick commerce segment for distribution of automotive parts and lubricants for Passenger and Commercial Vehicles. This initiative is set to transform the industry with a unique inclusive model that expands supply chain partnerships with existing parts retail networks. By leveraging the existing myTVS digital catalogue, this innovative approach enables partner retailers to significantly enhance their product portfolio while reducing the inventory holding period to NIL, ensuring faster service, lower costs and greater operational efficiency.

As part of this initiative, myTVS will initially establish 50 dark stores branded as myTVS Hypermart by March 2025 in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Over the next three years, the company will add 200 more stores across India. These stores will leverage AI-driven supply chain technology to ensure minimal returns and deliver the right product at the right place and at the right time.

The whole model works in the form of ‘Supply Chain as a Pipe.’ This model introduces a consignment inventory system at partner stores, allowing them to focus on business growth without needing to hold the stock as inventory. This model has already demonstrated significant success during our pilot phase, achieving profitability per store and superior returns for partner retailers within just three months of operations.

Our Customers can order parts online using our myTVS app, which comes with our promise of delivery within 2 hrs. We have built the country’s largest digital catalogue of parts and lubricants, featuring 8 mn SKUs for both commercial vehicles and passenger cars, offering unmatched convenience to our customers. myTVS aims to connect 50,000 garages and retailers across India by 2025.

This initiative reaffirms myTVS’ position as a leader in India’s automotive aftermarket industry, setting new benchmarks for innovation, efficiency and profitable growth.

The myTVS Hypermart initiative will also contribute to our sustainability goals through our EV fleet for last-mile deliveries, reducing the carbon footprint in the supply chain.
