At BMGE 2025 – The Components Show, myTVS, a leading player in the Indian automotive aftermarket space, showcased its latest innovation, TVS Astra, an integrated solution designed to revolutionize fleet management and automotive services. Speaking at the event, Natarajan Srinivasan, CEO of myTVS, described the Astra platform as a transformative development for the industry, akin to the IT sector’s Y2K moment.
“This is a pivotal moment for the auto industry,” said Srinivasan. “With software-defined vehicles (SDVs) becoming the norm and the increasing digitization of mobility, we believe the future lies in integrating data, devices, and software applications. TVS Astra embodies this vision by combining these elements into one seamless solution.”
Comprehensive Solutions for Diverse Needs
TVS Astra integrates infotainment systems, user interfaces, and diagnostics into a unified platform. Explaining its functionality, Srinivasan said, “Astra enables vehicle health monitoring, periodic diagnostics, and actionable insights for intervention. This ensures efficiency and safety across various vehicle segments—commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and even freight solutions—irrespective of fuel types like ICE, EVs, or hydrogen.”

The solution offers a user-friendly interface, making it accessible for both individual vehicle owners and fleet operators. “Our unique selling point lies in simplifying complex data into intuitive insights for end users. This is bundled with accessories such as single-console displays and other innovative products,” he added.
Expanding Horizons in the Aftermarket
myTVS continues to strengthen its position as a leader in the digital automotive aftermarket. Astra serves as a bridge connecting ecosystem players, including OEMs, component manufacturers, retailers, and garages. Highlighting the scale of myTVS’s operations, Srinivasan noted, “We are the largest multi-brand player in the aftermarket segment, with a network of over 1,200 service centers across India. Our solutions touch nearly 20% of the country’s vehicle population, which is a testament to the value we provide.”

To enhance the retailer experience, myTVS has introduced innovative concepts like dark stores and hypermarts, aimed at creating a zero-inventory, consumption-driven model. Srinivasan elaborated, “This model minimizes working capital requirements for retailers while ensuring timely delivery and availability of parts. It’s a win-win for all stakeholders.”
Scaling Domestically and Globally
Srinivasan emphasized the scalability of Astra, both domestically and internationally. “We’ve already established proof of concept for Astra’s fleet management capabilities in the UK, and there’s immense potential for global expansion. In India, the opportunity remains vast, with significant room for growth in standardizing parts and optimizing supply chains,” he said.
The company is also exploring opportunities to enhance the adoption of Astra across additional states in India and expand its global footprint. “This is just the beginning,” Srinivasan remarked. “We are scaling the solution domestically while simultaneously tapping into global markets. The growth trajectory looks promising.”
Vision for the Future
Concluding his remarks, Srinivasan highlighted myTVS’s commitment to innovation and collaboration. “Our goal is to create integrated, scalable solutions that drive efficiency and safety while offering unmatched value to our partners and customers. The journey has just begun, and we’re excited about the opportunities that lie ahead,” he said.
At BMGE 2025, myTVS’s participation underscored its leadership in the automotive aftermarket and its dedication to driving innovation in the industry. With Astra, the company has taken a significant step toward shaping the future of mobility solutions.
