To find out the company’s future plans, the MOTORINDIA Editor spoke to Mr. Nandan Agrawal, Managing Director, Nandan Petrochem Ltd., in Mumbai recently.
Explaining the company’s strategy, Mr. Nandan said his company has generated a very good brand awareness and today it is manufacturing Genuine Oils for leading organizations like Bosch, Escorts, Usha, Kirloskar, Greaves, BEML, etc. The company has also established a strong rapport with three leading public sector Oil companies, i.e., IOC, BPCL and HPCL for which Nandan Petrochem is carrying out Blending / Repacking for Oils & Greases for their aftermarket business operations. With three manufacturing plants – two at Taloja and one at Silvassa – the company always maintains its focus on product quality, for which it procures base oil and additives from PSU oil companies as well as from reputed overseas firms. As an ISO certified company, all the Nandan Petrochem products fully meet the API specifications.
With MEGUIN GmbH already having OE approval from the European commercial Vehicle majors, including MAN and Daimler, he is fully confident of getting approval from the Indian subsidiaries with the support of German technology. With its technical competency, the company is also hopeful of getting approval from other Indian commercial vehicle majors like Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Eicher, etc.
With the Joint venture with Kruse GmbH, NPL has established the AdBlue manufacturing unit in the name of NPL BlueSky Automotive Pvt. Ltd., and the products are made under the brand name of Velvex, Mr. Nandan added.
