Recent Developments and Achievements

NPL has recently added new products to its product line in a variety of automotive markets. BS VI-compliant engine oils for heavy commercial vehicles, passenger cars, and motorcycles are a few of them. Velvex Trans Gear 75W-90, Velvex Transmission DEX III, and Velvex Axle Oil 85W-140 are now available, as well as new gear and transmission oils like Velvex Trans Gear 75W-90, Velvex Transmission DEX III, and Velvex Axle Oil 85W-140. NPL’s Red Gel Grease is a high-end multifunctional grease with a unique synergy of structural and performance additives. Velvex Pneumatic oils and Velvex Cutvel N 170 are two new additions to our industrial lubricant line.

Today, NPL has access to the latest technologies. They market the entire product range under the VELVEX brand, which includes lubricants, greases, transformer oil, white oil/liquid paraffin, and rubber process oils and AdBlue, as well as specialty lubricants.

Keeping Pace with Trends

In order to give momentum to product development and R&D activities, new equipment were commissioned at the lab to supplement new test facilities and ongoing upgrades to existing laboratory infrastructure.

HPLC for evaluating transformer oils, grease lifecycle test, e-library for chemists and scientists, industry contact through webinars and seminars, and customer meetings on new requirements/technology induction and future expectations, learning and development programmes, in-house product knowledge training, and exchange of thought/knowledge on a shared space called ‘SPECTRUM,’ as well as technical trainings for valued customers, were a few tasks that were carried out, in order to keep pace with changing trends.

Manufacturing Strength

NPL aspires to be a preferred partner delivering stakeholder value in all their endeavours for which 12 manufacturing plants with R&D and in-house accredited lab facility are strategically located. They are present in all 4 zones (North, West, East & South) to cater to the pan-India demand.

Growth and Distribution Network

The company’s top and bottom lines have grown by double digits, and its main financial indicators have improved as well. For its aftermarket brand VELVEX, NPL has a wide network of distributors and a pan-India retail team.

The AdBlue business will promote aggressive development in the retail and OEM categories, as well as a consumer-centric marketing push. Meanwhile, their retail brand VELVEX’s expansion will be focused on incremental client gains in the eastern and southern zones of the country.
