Arvind Garg, Chairman, bauma CONEXPO India Task Force and Executive Vice President and Head (Construction and Mining Machinery) at Larsen and Toubro Ltd., said, “At a time when the industry’s mood is gradually lifting, the event at the new venue on new dates will allow the industry to participate wholeheartedly and put their best foot forward. The India Expo Centre and Mart is emerging as the centre for world trade with a modern, large, integrated and multipurpose exhibition and convention centre. We look forward to supporting the event and participating in the upcoming edition of bauma CONEXPO India 2023”.
“ICEMA is pleased to continue its partnership and long-standing cooperation with bauma CONEXPO India aimed at bringing industry stakeholders together to network, explore business opportunities and showcase latest innovations,” said Dimitrov Krishnan, President, Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA) and Managing Director, Volvo CE India. He further mentioned that this platform will enable the industry to exchange insights and best practices with their counterparts. An exposure to the vast product offerings from the Indian CE industry will encourage higher mechanisation levels in the Indian construction sector and will also help develop a robust manufacturing ecosystem in the country.
This initiative will strengthen India’s position as a major potential exporter of construction equipment to global markets. “The trade fair bauma CONEXPO India has been playing a pivotal role in the inculcation of new construction technologies. Our association with bauma CONEXPO India will further encourage mechanisation of construction processes across India, especially in states like Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim in the north east, where BAI is establishing itself more strongly. BAI National Members Meet can be planned alongside bauma CONEXPO India 2023 with maximum participation from across India,” said R N Gupta, President, Builders Association of India (BAI).
About moving the show to Greater Noida, Singh said, “Greater Noida Industrial Area is located at the intersection of the western and eastern dedicated freight corridors and is the gateway to the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). It lies within the National Capital Region of India’s capital New Delhi and is adjacent to Noida, one of the largest industrial townships in Asia. The integrated township is shaping up as India’s smartest city. With its next edition in 2023, the focus will be on future trends, latest innovations and new projects in the construction, building materials and mining machinery industries. The trade fair will come back even more successful with full zest and vigour, the organisers said.
