NORMA Group’s Talegaon plant opened

The NORMA Group, known for its engineered joining technology, officially opened its new production plant at Talegaon near Pune on October 27.

With the new 6,500 m² facility the group enhances its production capacities in order to cater to the expanding demand in India and Asia for connectors and joining elements.

Mr. John Stephenson, COO and President – Asia Pacific at NORMA Group, formally inaugurated the plant by cutting the ribbon.

He said on the occasion: “We have been present in India for many years with our business evolving greatly. The opening of this facility is a logical step for us in adjusting our capacities to the growing demand for our joining technology solutions in the Indian market and the entire Asia Pacific region.

At the new facility we will expand our engineering services. This increase means that we can support the design work for the NORMA Group in many regions of the world including Australia, Europe, Japan, Korea and North America.”

The new production site is equipped with the latest technologies from the NORMA Group and ensures safe and responsible operations for its employees.

The products from this facility comprise hose and pipe connecting components like flexible nylon tubing for various applications such as fuel lines and crankcase ventilation. Customers from the aerospace, automotive, railway, shipbuilding, chemical, infrastructure and various other sectors across India and Asia-Pacific will be served from the Talegaon plant.
