The North American Commercial Vehicle (NACV) Show in Atlanta, Georgia, continues to grow. In 2019, the second edition of the largest North American commercial vehicle trade fair is expected to attract all of the major truck manufacturers, including as first-time exhibitors Peterbilt and Kenworth.
With the high demand for display space and stand enlargements as well as the high rate of new registrations, the NACV Show will now occupy two exhibition halls at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, running from October 28 to 31, 2019. The total amount of net display space will jump from 34,000 sqr. mtrs. to 47,700 sqr. mtrs., with more than 500 exhibitors expected.
The NACV Show takes place every two years, alternating with Truck World in Toronto, Ontario (Canada). The organizers consist of Hannover-based Deutsche Messe and its subsidiary Hannover Fairs USA, together with Newcom Media USA.
“The commercial vehicle industry continues to impress based on its groundbreaking innovations and cutting-edge technologies,” says Stefan Handwerk, International Product Director at Deutsche Messe. “This is why we look forward to maintaining a consistent focus on the needs of an even broader target group – from fleet owners and managers to other important North American decision-makers – with a trade fair that has been expanded both in terms of its thematic content and the amount of display space sold.”
Suppliers like Freightliner, Western Star, Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, Navistar and Hino will present and launch their latest products at the show. It will also feature leading trailer specialists and top-class suppliers, including Bendix, BorgWarner, Bosch, ConMet, Continental, Cooper Tire, Cummins Inc., Dana, Dorsey Trailer, Great Dane, Hendrickson, Hyundai Translead, Meritor, SAF Holland, Tenneco, Thermo King, Utility Trailer Manufacturing, Wabash, Wabco and ZF.
The range of products at the exhibition includes innovative trucks, drives and trailers, state-of-the-art driver assistance systems, fuel efficiency systems, safety / security technologies and electronic measuring devices. In addition, the trade fair will present a comprehensive range of maintenance services and high-quality truck accessories.
The NACV Show is aimed exclusively at major B2B clients. At its debut edition in 2017, the event featured 443 exhibitors, 30% of them from outside the US, presenting the latest trends and developments in the commercial vehicle sector on net display space of 34,000 sqr. mtrs.
In addition to the NACV Show, Deutsche Messe organizes other commercial vehicle trade fairs such as the China Commercial Vehicles Show (CCVS) in Wuhan, China (November 1-4, 2019) and Truck World in Toronto, Canada (April 16-18, 2020). In addition, the IAA Commercial Vehicles exhibition that takes place every two years at the Hannover Exhibition Center (September 24 to October 1, 2020), is the largest commercial vehicle fair in the world.
