TEXSPIN Bearings Ltd., India’s leading bearing and auto component manufacturer, held its annual dealers’ conference in the picturesque tranquil stretches of emerald backwaters in Kerala on January 24 and 25. TEXSPIN is a leading supplier of bearing and auto components to the original equipment manufacturers in India and overseas and has a channel network spread across the country for serving the aftermarket requirement. The two-day meet was attended by 146 channel partners and the senior management team from TEXSPIN, including the Managing Director, Mr. Dipen Makwana.
The business session of the meet was inaugurated by Mr. Makwana along with the senior channel partners with the lighting of the traditional lamp. While welcoming the channel partners, Mr. Makwana emphasized the long relationship which TEXSPIN enjoys with its channel members, and expressed his deepest gratitude to the participants for giving such an overwhelming response to the meet where most of the channel partners could take their time out and attend it. In fact, the theme of the meet was “Celebration of Our Relationship”, and in the true sense and sprit of the theme, the meet was indeed a reconfirmation with the resounding response and the warm celebrations over the two days of the meet.
A key event during the meet was the new product launch of two of the new product lines of TEXSPIN for the aftermarket. Based on customer requirement and strategic decision to forward integrate the product line to providing complete solution for the clutch application, TEXSPIN launched a range of clutch assembly along with clutch parts and kits.
Initially the clutch assembly in the sizes of 380, 352, 310, 240, 190 and 170 diameter will be supplied and the range will be further augmented going ahead to serve the entire rage of clutch assemblies for which TEXSPIN is the leading manufacturer of release bearings.
The other niche technological product which was launched at the meet was the hydraulically operated clutch release bearing (CSC), and with the addition of this range of products, TEXSPIN will be the only Indian company to provide a comprehensive and complete range of clutch release bearing solutions to the Indian market.
Delivering the keynote address during the meet, Mr. Dipen Makwana stressed the need for adopting world class practices and systems in production and quality as well as in the delivery and service to meet and exceed the expectations of the customers in a globalized and fast evolving economy. The business managers of both the After Market (AFM) and the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) segments presented their plans and updated the partners on the key objectives going forward while laying down the roadmap and strategies for the coming year. The event also served as a discussion forum between TEXSPIN and the Channel Partners with an open house session where all the members actively participated and came up with useful suggestions and shared trends and strategies that are shaping up in the respective regional markets.
The meet also had two glittering sessions of Award Function where the best performing dealers from each region were recognized and awarded with trophies for their sales performance in different market segments and product segments. The award function concluded with the felicitation of the top three dealers in the country who were awarded the best performance award for their outstanding sales performance in the financial year FY13-14.
The business session was followed by a day of leisure and sightseeing in the midst of the tranquil stretches of emerald backwaters, the long shoreline with serene beaches and the lush green scenic landscape of Kerala. The meet concluded with a gala dinner and live band playing the mystique sufi music and foot tapping fast numbers setting a befitting ambience for the conclusion of a memorable two days of togetherness and celebration of our long cherished relationship.
