Pacoline Industries, a leading manufacturer of mirror assemblies, interior and exterior lights, reflectors, warning triangles, spray suppression flaps and other components and assemblies for the automotive industry, made its debut at the fair, displaying a wide array of products for the replacement market.
Says Mr. Muzammil Shaikh, Director, Pacoline Industries Pvt. Ltd.: “We have gone into LED lamps for CVs and are focusing on LEDs which consume less power than conventional lamps with bulbs. Since we are well established in the CV mirrors business in India, we are now exploring the mirrors segment in overseas markets. Automechanika is a reputed global brand for the aftermarket and draws visitors from different parts of the world, which is why we wanted to participate at this year’s fair. The response has been quite good and we hope to take part in other Automechanikas around the globe as well.”
Going forward, Pacoline plans to focus on the aftermarket and is slowly building up its distribution network across the country. “We are building capacities for OEMs and also the aftermarket. Though the aftermarket is very cash sensitive, we hope there would be more stability in the market with GST coming in. We will also have to see the effect of the BS-IV migration. As far as Pacoline is concerned, we have been bucking the trend with consistent growth. We are launching several new products and entering into new OEMs. Our business with Volvo has been really good and they believe in our capability. We are also discussing with them regarding potential international business”, added Mr. Shaikh
