Parveen Travels launches ‘Respect Women for life’ campaign

Parveen Travels, one of the most preferred travel brands in South India has always taken the extra step to make women feel safer and privileged during their journey in its buses. The company has recently launched a ‘Respect Women for Life Campaign’ that ensures total safety and encourages women to take up challenging jobs and is also planning to recruit and train women through one of its group companies.

 The new initiatives undertaken to create better standards for women passengers are:

* Background verified and trained crew

* Display of driver details on board

* GPS tracking in all vehicles

* CCTV surveillance in all vehicles

* Seat preference for female passengers

* Awareness campaigns and information on dedicated website

The Chief Guest of the occasion, Ms. Salma, acclaimed writer and poet, who unveiled the new concept, said: “Women safety is the responsibility of the society as a whole. It is a great initiative from a private company like Parveen Travels who have taken on a big responsibility to show how much they value and respect women. Times have changed as more and more women are well educated, working at important companies and travelling lot more than earlier”

Ms. Reihana, a well-known Music Director and playback singer who was also present at the function lauded Parveen Travels and congratulated its management for coming out with a unique concept for women. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Aarif and Mr. Sadiq, Directors of the company, said that it was because of their customers and overall goodwill that they constantly innovate and try to raise the bar in all aspects of safety, comfort and providing extra care for women passengers.
