Pee Aar Exim (P) Ltd., the JV between SPAL Automotive of Italy and the Pee Aar Group, a regular supplier of automotive, fans & blowers, made the most of the strong participation from bus AC makers, being present alongside its customers at the show.
The company has been growing well in the Indian market and is focusing on increasing the local contents in its product to bring down the costs. Pee Aar is also developing some new products which will hit the market in the near future.
“We are happy to participate at Busworld because we have many of our customers here including Jingyi, Spheros and Subros and we expect the market to grow in future. We are focusing on reducing imports into the country and are hence localizing our products. We are also working on some new products through our JV with Spal which will be unveiled in the near future. The last quarter was very good for us and we expect the trend to continue”, says Mr. Pankaj Rustagi, Managing Director, Pee Aar Exim (P) Ltd.
The company currently produces close to half a million units annually and is looking to reach the one million mark in the next three years’ time which would cater to both domestic and export markets.
