Mr. Peter Tyroller has been appointed to take over the responsibility for Bosch Asia Pacific effective from July 1, 2013. Based in Shanghai, PR China, he will be responsible for India and all other countries in the Asia Pacific region.
“Asia Pacific will continue to be the main driver of growth for Bosch and I am honored to take over the responsibility for this important region,” commented Mr. Peter Tyroller on his new assignment. He has been a member of the Bosch board of management since 2006. Up to now, he has been responsible for marketing and sales, original equipment sales, and the Automotive Aftermarket division.
With his new role Mr. Tyroller assumes the responsibility for India from Dr. Bernd Bohr, who is to retire for personal reasons after 30 years with Bosch and ten years as the head of the Automotive Technology business sector.
“Globally, the Automotive Technology business sector is doing well in an extremely competitive environment and has made an above-average contribution to total return on global sales at Bosch,” Dr. Bernd Bohr commented on the recent development of Bosch’s automotive sector.
“In India, our deep local roots have helped us establish lasting partnerships with our Indian customers and we remain confident in the country’s market and economy,” Dr. Bohr commented on the development in India.
