Piaggio launches Apé water-cooled range for Gujarat market

Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (PVPL), a 100% subsidiary of the Italian Piaggio Group and India’s leading manufacturer of small commercial vehicles, has launched its water-cooled range of products in the three-wheeler category for the Gujarat market. The range includes Apé Xtra LDX (+ CNG water-cooled PU) priced at Rs. 217,865, Apé Xtra LDX CNG water-cooled PU priced at Rs. 213,054, and Apé Auto DX (CNG water-cooled) priced at Rs. 218,287 (ex-showroom Ahmedabad).

The introduction of the new range of CNG vehicles is a strategic initiative from the company to reinforce its commitment of providing path-breaking solutions in the last-mile transportation segments for its customers in Gujarat. The Apé Xtra LDX and Apé Auto DX are part of the new water-cooled engine technology range.

These variants of Apé are the first of its kind in the industry with water-cooled engines, offering best-in-class performance in terms of power, pick-up, and mileage & maintenance.

The new range of vehicles will meet the growing demand for commercial vehicle mobility solutions particularly suited to intra-city travel in Gujarat where the CNG fuel availability is amongst the best in the country.
