In a conversation with Rajesh Rajgor, Ashvini Jakhar, Prozo’s CEO, explains how Prozo is using facial recognition to bolster logistics security. This method, involving unique face signatures for personnel, reduces theft and unauthorized access risks. It enhances supply chain communication and operational efficiency. Prozo’s comprehensive solutions aim to transform India’s logistics landscape, marked by impressive growth and a broad clientele. Their strategic focus includes expanding and reshaping the supply chain industry. Below is an edited excerpts from the conversation.
The concept of unique face signatures for supply chain personnel to access real-time data is intriguing. Could you explain how this innovation enhances communication and streamlines operations within the supply chain?
The introduction of facial recognition and unique facial signatures for authorized personnel significantly boosts supply chain efficiency. For example, consider a scenario where a warehouse executive interacts with third-party logistics personnel or an external vendor. Facial recognition allows seamless identification of the vendor and access to crucial information like name and address, without the need for manual interactions or physical documents. This real-time information exchange enhances security, minimizes errors, and expedites operational processes.
What are the key benefits of integrating this technology into logistics?
One of the ongoing challenges for warehouse operators is safeguarding goods, data, and infrastructure. Facial recognition technology significantly enhances security by reducing theft, fraud, and unauthorized access. It enables the creation of unique face signatures for personnel in key facilities like warehouses, integrating data like name and job title for real-time access, ensuring only authorized individuals enter. This method provides a more robust and error-free attendance tracking system, accurately monitoring entry, time spent, and exit times for employees, vendors, and visitors.

The current market is underserved, with solutions at both extremes. Brands are seeking integrated supply chain solutions for fast fulfillment. 3. Prozo Retail Network (PRN): E-commerce reseller services on 20+ online platforms.
4. Prozo Warehousing & Logistics Platform (PWLP): A 5-part, GDPR & ISO certified SaaS platform with a Control Tower and Command Center.
