KPMG in India has announced the election of Mr. Arun M. Kumar as Chairman and CAs part of integration of the Fluid Power and Power Transmission operations from January 1, 2017, Gates India has promoted Mr. Rajesh Bhandari as its Managing Director. In his new role, Mr. Rajesh will be accountable for both Fluid Power and Power Transmission business in India with P&L responsibility. He will be responsible for developing profitable growth strategies and execution plans as per his delegation of authority, together with the functional teams, Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Legal.
As the MD, Mr. Rajesh would be the highest authority to represent Gates India Pvt. Ltd. and Gates Unitta India Company (GUIC) in administering, directing and coordinating all commercial activities by directing a multi-disciplinary, customer centric “Leadership Team”, which includes support functions that report functionally and ensuring alignment to the overall organizational objectives set. Under his leadership FP India became market leader and brand of first choice in Indian market. During the last couple of years, he led the teams to become dominant player by growing the 3rd party revenue over 50%. FP India winning 3 Awards from top 3 OEMs this year is the latest acknowledgment of his leadership.
