Over the last three-and-a-half decades, Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd. (RKFL) has emerged as one of the preferred suppliers of rolled, forged, machined parts for CV manufacturers and Tier-I suppliers both within India and across the world. The Kolkata-based firm with its operations in Jamshedpur is the second largest forging company in the country and is known for its quality products and excellent overall service that has kept customers from across the world happy over time.
In line with its growing global reputation, RKFL made a massive presence at the world’s largest commercial vehicle show in Hanover last year, where in its strong Marketing & Technical Team was present along with their company’s Chairman Mr. M.P. Jalan, and their Managing Director, Mr. Naresh Jalan, projecting its professionalism to global customers while also setting a benchmark of sorts for Indian companies to match.

We are now focusing on the European market which is quite equally distributed and have started supplying to a number of Tier-1’s of Europe and soon will be with a number of European OEMS’s also. RKFL has a very versatile product line-up which includes I-beams, crankshafts, Diff Cases, steering arms, Crown Wheels, among many others. “We forge stub axle for vehicles as small as a 1 ton carrying capacity CV up to trucks as large as 40Ton carrying Capacity. Similarly, we make crown wheels of size 200 to 500 dia and crank shafts from two-cylinders to six-cylinders. We are very strong on the engineering side and our USP is that we are a one-stop destination for the CV segment – we are into front axle, rear axle, engine, transmission and gear box components. So customers are happy that all their requirements are catered to under one roof”, added Mr. Gandhi.
With an annual installed capacity of around 2,20,000 MT with four units at Jamshedpur and one near Kolkata, the company is fully geared to cater to global requirements, driven by its proven balance between focus on quality and competitive pricing.
