Rotex Automation Ltd. (RAL) has developed hydrocarbon dosing valves for Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) regenerations system that has already been supplied to Cummins in Europe and the USA and used for Euro VI engines for last few years. The company also supplies a unique Auto drain valve for water fuel separator to Cummins. The Gujarat-based company has successfully designed and manufactured solenoid valves for various applications in the automotive space such as exhaust after treatment, transmissions, air suspension, braking, fuel control, PTO control, coolant management & HVAC system and many more. With its exposure to global requirements of after treatments systems, company is poised to be a key OEM partner to OEMs in India for the upcoming emission norms.
Rotex has developed an atomization module for DPF regeneration which is completely integrated with valves, sensors and regulators. It is modular design and can be easily optimized to required performance. It’s a ready product to directly put into the trucks for Euro VI application. The company also has developed electrical valves for seating application to control of height of the seat for driver comfort. Said Mr. Nirav Shah, Director, RAL: “As even the European market is moving from mechanical to electrical controls, they are looking for solutions like the ones we have developed. We are working with one of the top European seat manufacturer”.
