S-CCI Golden Cruiser, an Automotive Engine Anti-Freeze Coolants & Brake Fluid maker, has acquired an Italian moulding machine, AUTOMA700 DH that specialises in producing containers & bottles for anti-freeze coolants & brake fluids. The machine has a capacity of making upto 37,000 bottles of 1 liter of anti-freeze coolants or brake fluid per day.
The AUTOMA AT 700 DH, a continuous extrusion shuttle blow moulding machine, is appropriate for production of plastic containers, which has a carriage horizontal shuttle stroke of 700 mm. It has a clamping force of 240 kN with dry cycle of 3 sec, with an estimated air consumption of 3000 Nlt/min.
While making the announcement, Mr. S.K. Singh, Director, S-CCI Golden-Cruiser India, said: “The machine complies with the international quality standards that make it possible to increase the competitiveness of our containers in the Indian & global market. Our goal for this acquisition is to discover quality solutions for transferring fluids through rotary joints at any speed, pressure and temperature.”
The shuttle-style extrusion blow molding machine can produce containers ranging from 250ml to 20 liters and can be improvised up to a mould of 12 cavities. It has a high rate of production with hydraulic working pressure of 200 bars and a cooling capacity of 12000 kcal/hr.
AUTOMA700 DH has conveyors which feed the flesh of the bottles directly into the granulator and the granulated material in turn is itself taken up by the machine for reuse. It has a deflashing unit, i.e., it can swipe off the flesh of the bottles without any human involvement. It also has a parison control to optimize the weight of the bottle to enhance its strength.
The in-mould labeling process conjoined with it enables the automatic labelling of bottles at the time of its production. All movements of the stretch-blowing station are servo-electric powered. An integrated removal device picks and places the bottles on a conveyor belt for subsequent handling by the stacking system. These movements are controlled through proportional valves which provide safe and accurate performance of all operations. Besides having an auto central greasing unit which performs greasing of all moving parts, machine parameters are password protected. It can be optimized according to the usage with automatic front safety doors.
