Scania Commercial Vehicles India, a leading commercial vehicles manufacturer, recently launched its first-ever Scania Super Luxury Inter-city Coach in India at a ceremony organised in Surat by Siddhi Vinayak Logistics Ltd. (SVLL), one of the fastest growing companies in the field of transportation, to commence the start of its bus operations. The vehicle launch was done by Mr. Anders Grundströmer, Managing Director, Scania Commercial Vehicle India, and Senior Vice President, Scania Group.
Based in Surat, SVLL is one of the largest fleet owners in the country. The company operates across diverse segments such steel, cement, tractors, chemicals and machinery and is a pioneer in the newer segments of commercial vehicle chassis carriers. With this legacy in place, the company has decided to venture into the bus segment under its ‘Connect’ brand and with Scania as its chosen partner.
