Harsha Kadam, who joined Schaeffler India in March 2018, will now assume the new role and lead the company with its strategy of further expansion in India
Leading industrial and automotive supplier, Schaeffler India Ltd., has announced that the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Harsha Kadam as Managing Director for a period of five years. Kadam will assume office effective October 1, 2019, succeeding Dharmesh Arora, who will take over as Regional CEO – Asia Pacific and Executive Board Member, Schaeffler AG. Kadam joined the company in March 2018 as President, Industrial Business, a role that he will continue to hold in addition to his responsibilities as MD. Arora will remain a Director on the Board of Schaeffler India Ltd.

In his previous assignments, Kadam was the CEO of AGI Glaspac (India) and held several positions of increasing responsibilities at SKF India. In a career spanning more than 25 years, he has led several businesses, including functions like sales, manufacturing, product design and development. He is holder of several patents and has won global awards for innovation excellence. Kadam is a mechanical engineer with additional qualifications in business management.
