The S.KO COOL EXECUTIVE reefer semi-trailer including services and the Schmitz Cargobull transport refrigeration unit is now firmly established on the market and successful internationally. Schmitz Cargobull now offers its executive package for curtainsider semi-trailers as well. This begins with the Schmitz Cargobull S.CS UNIVERSAL trailer as from the IAA 2016.
The executive package includes the well-known and proven S.CS curtainsider semi-trailer with the proprietary ROTOS axle unit and Schmitz Cargobull tyres. To this is added a full-service package, including trailer and tyre servicing, telematics and the Europe-wide breakdown service. The package is rounded off with exclusive additional equipment, a tyre pressure control system monitored by telematics, the new, glued floor and the Schmitz Cargobull telematics unit itself are always contained in the package as standard and deliverable within 18 hours. Financing options complete the package. This offers the customer the highest level of transparency possible and the greatest savings potential with regard to the total cost of ownership and all this with just one contact partner. The package will be offered for the German, BeNeLux and Hungarian markets as of the IAA. The European roll-out is in preparation.
The Schmitz Cargobull 18-hour vehicle combines Schmitz Cargobull’s high manufacturing and development competence with logistics expertise. Customers have the opportunity to configure their individual vehicle from the Schmitz Cargobull modular system and to collect it, if needed, from the curtainsider production facility in Altenberge in just 18 hours after receipt of the order. This means the customer can save on the cost of replacement vehicles and execute their orders in good time.
The customer chooses specific trailer equipment from the modular system. There are few restrictions during the configuration stage, with the exception of individual livery printing, and requests can be checked very quickly by Schmitz Cargobull sales. The requirements and transport orders of the customers change very often. With the 18-hour vehicle, Schmitz Cargobull is therefore responding to market demand and offering customers the opportunity to offset shortages in their fleet by purchasing new trailers at short notice.
