Recently Speed-A-Way celebrated its annual get-together in Chennai, which was attended by the top management of all the principals. Mr. R. Sarath, Whole Time Director & Secretary, Speed-A-Way, in his welcome address, whole-heartedly thanked all the principals and other dignitaries who graced the occasion.
Mr. Gautam Venkataramani, Wholetime Director, India Pistons Ltd., delivered the keynote address on “Digital Economy – Way forward for the Automotive Aftermarket”.
Mr. K. Balasubramaniyam, President-Operations, Speed-A-Way, announced the Awards for the best performance of the team members. The Awards were presented by the top officials of respective manufacturing companies for individual product verticals Speed-A-Way operates in, viz., Independent Aftermarket Spares, Original Equipment Spares, Lubricants, Tyres, Batteries and Garage Tools. Mr. N. Venkataramani, Chairman & Managing Director, India Pistons Ltd., and a doyen of the Indian auto component industry, presented the Overall Best Performer Award.
Speed-A-Way also held on the occasion its annual sales conference in Chennai for three days during May 11-13, 2017, at which the entire branch heads of the company had an interesting interactive session with the management team of each of the manufacturers. Overall it was a very memorable event in the history of Speed-A-Way.
