Industry evolution
The Indian automotive industry, especially the bus segment, has undergone a major make-over in the last few years. It is not enough anymore to offer basic necessities or follow safety standards. Mr. Aneel shared: “In the last five years, the bus industry has become more aware of the luxuriousness of services, more comfort, and aesthetics. With the increasing comfort levels, which are both being demanded and offered, expectations are also rising and exactly because of this reason, our products are also in greater demand.”
Srivasavi approaches bus body manufacturers to offer a bouquet of solutions which Mr. Aneel recounted: “If the requirement is to have multiple colors of painting for the bus body, our masking tapes come into the picture. When it comes to the air-conditioning systems and related activities, our HVAC-related products are available. We have specific products for reducing noise too.”

Currently, Mr. Aneel said the market is on an upward trend, and it is a good sign that there are more players entering the segment creating a positive competitive ambience. We have covered major cities in our service network.”
