Good response for customer interaction day

Tata DLT, a joint venture of Tata International and Dutch Lankan Trailers, has since inception in 2006 been specializing in production of trailers for the Indian commercial vehicle space. Its standard range consists of sidewall, flatbed and skeletal, as well as specially-designed chassis carriers, tip trailers, chassis for mobile crushers, etc.

According to company sources, Tata-DLT has a double-digit market share in the country’s organized trailer business which it hopes to substantially expand in the next couple of years.

With Mr. Rajeev Batra who has more than two decades of experience in the business taking over as Chief Operating Officer, Tata-DLT is confident of achieving its set target. He says: “With increased awareness, more players in the trucking industry are betting their money on organized retailers, with service definitely being the key. At Tata-DLT, customer satisfaction is the most important criterion, and everything we do here is to give nothing but the best for our customers”.

Tata-DLT is in a massive expansion mode with capacities being added at its Pune facility. It is also planning new projects in the neighbouring States.

The company recently organised a customer interaction day at its Pune factory, and its customers who are large fleet owners such as cement and coil carriers and truck chassis carriers from different States attended the function in large numbers. They visited the different divisions of the plant and watched the actual vehicle production process.

On the occasion, the company had arranged an exhibition of new products such as tip trailers, TCCs and canopy trailers. The customers discussed the applications and specifications of the displayed products with the company engineering team, and their suggestions for modifications were recorded.

At the event, Mr. Rajeev Batra shared his vision of the organization with the customers and dealers from Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. He assured them of a more customer-centric approach by providing the best of services and products at all times.
