Tata Motors has announced its entry into Australia through a new independent distributor, Fusion Automotive Pty. Ltd. which will be exclusively marketing and distributing Tata Motors vehicles in that country. Tata Motors will introduce a range of light commercial vehicles, in both the 4×2, 4×4, single and crew-cab variants, with Euro V Turbo diesel engines.

As we launch products tested and validated across some of the toughest terrains into the Australian market, we are happy to partner with Fusion Automotive.

He added: “The light commercial segment is now the third largest of the Australian new-car market, with 13 major brands in the 4×2 and 4×4 categories. We believe there is demand in Australia for a utility range of vehicles with the toughness and value for money equation that Tata Motors products deliver”.
Fusion Automotive plans to appoint dealers across Australia with the estimated size of the dealer network at 13 by the end of the year. There are further plans for Fusion Automotive to expand the network across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia over the next 12 months to about 25 dealers.
