Mr. Hemant M. Nerurkar, Managing Director, Tata Steel Ltd., has been appointed Vice President of the All India Management Association (AIMA).
Mr. Nerurkar is already on the Board of several Tata Group companies. He is Chairman of Tata Steel (Thailand) Public Co. Ltd., Nat Steel Asia Pte Ltd., NatSteel Holdings Pte Ltd., and Corus Consulting Ltd., UK, and Director of Tata Blue Scope Steel Ltd., and New Millenium Capital Corporation.
Mr. Nerurkar has been conferred the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award from the Lions Club International and the CEO of the Year Award-2011 by the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM).
He has also been presented the Honorary Degree of Doctorate by KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, and Maharashtra Excellence Award for 2012.
