With its vast reservoir of knowledge and technological understanding of clutches, TEXSPIN decided to forward integrate in this application area and provide the complete clutch solution consisting of the release bearing and the clutch assembly with the aim of offering value and technological improvements in the entire solution to its valued customers.
TEXSPIN started working on setting up a clutch manufacturing facility a couple of years back as part its forward integration strategy, and today the new greenfield facility is ready for production of clutches and its components. It formally launched a range of clutch assembly along with clutch parts and kits for the aftermarket at the Annual Channel Partners’ Meet in Kerala in the first quarter of the financial year, and TEXSPIN clutches are now available with its channel partners across the country.
Initially, clutch assembly in the sizes of 380, 352, 310, 240, 190 and of 170 diameter will be supplied, and the range will be further augmented going ahead to serve the entire range of clutch assemblies for which TEXSPIN is the leading manufacturer of release bearings.
The TEXSPIN clutch is designed to deliver optimal efficiency. The major casting components are processed by high pressure moulding to ensure superior level of casting quality. The design of cover assembly is optimized in such a way that it will protect dust entry and reduce the clutch housing temperature to increase the clutch life. To ensure vehicle-specific OE quality and for trouble-free installation, the company has set up a comprehensive cent per cent online testing facility for clutches as well as an advanced integrated clutch testing facility at its Reliability Centre to ensure that it offers a product in line with its reputation of being the leading cutch solution provider in the country.
“It was a natural outcome of our extensive understanding and research on the clutch technology, and it was only a matter of time as to when and how we would enter the clutch assembly market. The opportunity came when we were setting up our new greenfield expansion, and we decided to dedicate some part of the new plant for manufacturing clutches.
