Trac Transmission, a manufacturer of 350 different variants of window regulators, has extended its product range to commercial vehicles. “We have entered the commercial vehicle segment and have bagged OEM orders from Ashok Leyland for two models and also from VECV. This is apart from our presence in the passenger car segment where we have got very good response from Maruti, Mahindra, Renault, etc.”, says Mr. Vipon Malhotra, Managing Partner, Trac Auto Transmission.
Window regulators are basically used in winding the glass from up and down in a vehicle door. It could be mechanical and motorized. Trac Transmission accords top priority to quality and is ready to go to any extent in delivering the quality and performance demanded by its customers.
“The inside of the mechanism of the door is what we manufacture. We do about 50,000 regulators per month and have a capacity to manufacture 100,000 units per month,” adds Mr. Malhotra.
