On September 16, during the press day of IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024, the prestigious “Stars of the Year” awards for 2025 will be presented. The award ceremony will include the International Bus of the Year, International Van of the Year, International Truck of the Year, the Truck Innovation Award, and the International Trailer Award. These awards recognize outstanding achievements and innovations in the transport and logistics industry.

Jarlath Sweeney, President of the International Van of the Year jury, concurred: “All members of the International Van of the Year jury are looking forward to the announcement and presentation of the IVOTY 2025 trophy during the IAA TRANSPORTATION ’Stars of the Year’ event at Messe Hannover. This year, there are 9 nominations, representing 15 light commercial vehicle brands, all in contention for the main prize. Once again, as per last year, there is a mix of diesel, battery electric and hydrogen powered vehicles on the long list. Presently, the jury is entering the election process, initially to decide on the shortlist and then to vote the overall winner of the most prestigious and longest established award in the light commercial industry. In addition to these awards, the International “Cargo Bike of the Year” and the “ETM Award 2024 | BEST OF NEW TRANSPORTATION” will be presented during IAA TRANSPORTATION 2024. This award will be presented for the first time. In 31 categories, the best models, brands, and products will be recognized. The award ceremony will take place on September 19, 2024.
