Tribotech India is a well-recognised garage equipment dealer for commercial vehicles based out of Mumbai, whose product line includes wheel balancers, tyre changers, wheel alignment machines, easy-balance powders and mobile column lifts.
The company is an exclusive distributor of Swedish brand JOSAM, a world leader in wheel alignment systems for commercial vehicles. JOSAM is a worldwide partner of Scania, Navistar, Mercedes and Volvo and is also approved by Indian OEMs, including Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Eicher and Mahindra.
Having been associated with the commercial vehicle industry and industrial maintenance for over two decades, Tribotech has earned very good reputation from its clients across the country for its committed service. The company has come up with an exciting new product line. Referring to it, Mr. Rohit Dawda, CEO, Tribotech, says: “We have a new solution to offer our customers – flameless heating for removing nuts and bolts from passenger cars and commercial vehicles, a very user-friendly concept. The conventional method is to use flame cutting or breaking the bolts in order to remove them. Our new solution being flameless, it makes it very easy to remove the bolts.”
Another new product introduced by Tribotech is a new balancing powder known as ‘EasyBalance’. “Our new balancing powder is a compound which is to be added to tubeless tyres just once. It takes only a couple of seconds to add during the tyre fitting process, without the need for valve cores or dried air. The stunning factor is that the compound continuously re-balances throughout the tyre’s lifetime and can also be reused when the tyres are changed”, explains Mr. Dawda.
The powder, primarily for truck and bus tyres, has been independently tested and approved by DEKRA, a German vehicle inspection company which is a world leader in testing operations.
While it is natural for new products to be in the limelight, wheel alignment systems remain Tribotech’s key selling solution, a product on which the company puts a major chunk of its marketing efforts on.
When asked about the factors that drive Tribotech’s growth, the CEO shares: “The current fiscal year has been quite smooth, without many problems. GST has not affected our business much either. In our effort to keep our business steady, the passion we have for our business, our love for providing garage equipment solutions and the service we provide are the main factors that drive our growth.”
