Integrating MaaS Providers
Integrating multiple Mobility as a Service (MaaS) providers has been a complex task, but it has yielded substantial benefits. “We’ve partnered with various service providers and integrated their offerings into one cohesive platform,” Mallick says. “By offering choices like autos, bikes, cabs, electric vehicles, and cycles, we cater to different preferences and budgets, ensuring everyone has a convenient way to complete their commute.”

Expanding Reach and Engaging Users
Reaching commuters in India involves a multifaceted approach. “We use digital marketing, social media engagement, and on-ground promotional activities to increase visibility,” notes Mallick. “Partnerships with local transport authorities have also been crucial for building trust.” Tummoc has made significant headway in its 21 operating cities, contributing to a user base of over 3.5 million. Despite a competitive market, the company continues to see strong engagement.

Collaborating with Last-Mile Partners
Tummoc’s collaboration with last-mile partners is driven by mutual benefits. “We provide them with a platform to reach a wider audience, while they offer our users reliable and convenient options to complete their journeys,” Mallick explains. “By integrating their services into our app, we ensure that users can book and pay for these services seamlessly.”

Future Plans and Expansion
Looking ahead, Tummoc plans to expand to more cities across India and develop white-label solutions for other transport operators. “We want to be the go-to solution for urban commuting nationwide,” says Mallick. “Our white-label solutions will allow other operators to use our technology to enhance their services, helping us scale quickly and reach a broader audience.” The company also aims to enhance its features with improved real-time data capabilities and expanded partnerships.

Commitment to Sustainability
Mallick emphasizes Tummoc’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. “We’re always looking for ways to reduce the environmental impact of commuting and promote greener alternatives,” he says. Initiatives include integrating electric vehicles, supporting cycling, and implementing carbon tracking and rewards. “By making commuting more efficient and eco-friendly, we aim to improve urban living standards.”
