TVS OESL, a division of TV Sundram Iyengar & Sons Ltd., opened on January 23 a state-of-the-art service centre for servicing Delphi TVS common rail fuel (diesel) injection equipment within its Madurai plant premises. This facility will benefit a number of OEMs like Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra and Renault India. It will also benefit the authorised service dealers of Delphi TVS all over Tamil Nadu which are all controlled by TVS OESL.
The function was well attended by senior officials from Delphi TVS, OE customers and other service workshop operators.
Mr. N.S. Mani, Vice President, in his inaugural address, said that TVS is known for its service to customers. This new high technology centre which involved a huge investment ensures reliable and timely service to customers across the State.
He also said that Delphi TVS parts availability will be channelized through all branches of TVS OESL in Tamil Nadu. Plans are also afoot to expand the distribution network through the other associate distribution houses, namely, Madras Auto Service, Sundaram Motors and IMPAL. An authorised service centre for common rail fuel injection equipment similar to the one just opened will be commissioned by the year end at Bangalore and Secunderabad.

TVS OESL, which is a leading parts distribution house, with its parts warehouses in Madurai and Pondicherry and its branches in Madurai, Nagercoil, Pudukottai, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Villupuram, Dindigul, Pondicherry, Coimbatore, Erode, Namkkal, Salem, Tirupur and Dharmapuri as well as in Kerala, has diversified into this service business also.
