Minda Distribution and Services Ltd. (MDSL), the aftermarket arm of UNO Minda, part of the NK Minda Group, made its debut at the show and attracted over 4,000 visitors to its pavilion across all four days of the expo. The company had a striking display of all of its aftermarket products – about 16 product ranges out of 20 that UNO Minda manufactures are offered in the domestic replacement market.
Its product portfolio includes automotive switches, lighting systems, horns, brake part, suspension systems, air-braking systems (CVs), batteries, chains, rear-view mirrors and other accessories, catering to all segments from two-wheelers to heavy commercial vehicles.
Eye-candy products that grabbed visitors’ attention were head and tail-lamp assemblies for just-launched Tata Harrier and Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, in-cabin accessories including infotainment systems, and telematics products.
Also on display were filters, which were launched in the aftermarket quite recently. Product of Roki Minda joint venture, the entire range of filters covering all vehicular segments will be gradually launched in the aftermarket, claimed MDSL. Shock absorbers and air braking systems exhibited at the expo were also newly launched products.
MDSL said that it is constantly expanding its footprint in the aftermarket business, with a strong network of over 800 business partners, 12,000 plus retailers, and about 6,000 mechanics vouching for UNO Minda products in the replacement market.
