The Board of Directors of Bosch Ltd. has announced that Dr. A. Hieronimus will step down as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board with effect from July 1 after his association for nearly ten years with the company. Prior to his current position, Dr. Hieronimus was Managing Director of the company from September 2003 to January 2008.
Mr. V.K. Viswanathan will take over from Dr. Hieronimus as the new Chairman with effect from July 1, 2013. He joined Bosch in 1998. During his 15-year stint, he took over as Joint Managing Director of Bosch Ltd. in January 2001. He was the Managing Director and President of the Bosch Group India from February 2008 to December 2012. He retired from the position on December 31, 2012.
