VELVEX, the flagship brand of Nandan Petrochem Limited (NPL), is setting benchmarks in the automotive sector by prioritizing solutions over products for both OEMs and the aftermarket. Speaking at the Expo, Managing Director Nandan Agrawaal shared, “Our refreshed VELVEX brand represents a commitment to supporting customers with comprehensive solutions, ensuring reliability and sustainability across the board.”
The company unveiled its renewed branding alongside plans to amplify marketing activities nationwide, targeting both existing and potential clients. “This platform is a great opportunity to reassure OEMs and partners of our capability to deliver robust solutions through our diverse portfolio,” Agrawaal added.
NPL is also addressing critical industry challenges like SCR bypass in emission control systems, a major environmental concern. “BS4 and BS6 vehicles rely on AdBlue to manage pollution. Bypassing the SCR system drastically increases emissions, harming the environment,” explained Vikas Gupta, CEO. The company is actively engaging with OEMs, ministries, and consumers to highlight the repercussions of bypassing these systems. “Awareness and enforcement of legislation are key to tackling this issue,” Gupta emphasized.
The company’s operational growth is equally remarkable. NPL currently operates 25 manufacturing plants for AdBlue, the highest in the industry, along with expanded dispensing units at dhabas, weighbridges, OEM workshops, and retail outlets. “This year, we’ve significantly bolstered our manufacturing and distribution capabilities, placing us ahead of the competition,” Agrawaal noted.
Looking ahead, NPL aims to scale its business exponentially. “We’re firing on all cylinders to achieve our aspiration of becoming a ₹5,000 crore company within three years,” Agrawaal remarked. The company’s reinvestments in infrastructure, manpower, and marketing highlights its commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth. “We see all segments growing, and our strategy is to pursue every opportunity with a partnership-driven approach,” Gupta concluded.
