With the lubricant brand having posted impressive growth over the past one year, it was time for a get-together of the company’s management with its channel partners and distributors to understand the roadmap for the future
Nandan Petrochem, one of the leading manufacturers of genuine oils, greases and specialty oils with a significant pan-India and overseas presence, successfully conducted its 3rd Annual Distributor Meet along with its channel partners and sales and marketing team at Novotel Imagica, Lonavala. The company played host to more than 100 distributors from across India along with supporting CFAs in the presence of its brand ambassador Alisha Abdullah, India’s first female motor racing champion. The theme for the event was ‘I am Possible’ taking into consideration the company’s strength and vision.
Alisha Abdullah welcomed the participants and spoke about how she and Velvex, the lubricant brand, share and relate to the theme of ‘I am Possible’ and their journey together. Nandan Petrochem Managing Director Nandan Agrawal, in his presentation, shared his vision about Velvex lubricants and Velvex AdBlue and how NPL Bluesky Automotive (P) Ltd. is now one of the leading pioneers in the AdBlue market with major OEMs on its client list. Further, Product Manager Varun Agrawal provided insights on the implication of BS-VI implementation in India from April 2020 and the role that AdBlue will play. He also made the participants aware of the counterfeit products available in the market and its effect on vehicles.
Vice President (Retail Sales) Pankaj Kumar Mittal shared his thoughts on the spectacular growth of Velvex lubricants and how this related to the theme chosen for the event. He also highlighted the company’s vision about its retail contribution to the Indian and global lubricant market and strategies that would be deployed to further strengthen its presence. Marketing Manager Abhishek Kumar Pathak added to the theme by sharing the company’s segment-wise contribution to the retail market and the growth of Velvex in each segment. He also revealed the company’s planned approach to achieving new benchmarks in the coming financial year and the support that would be extended to the channel partners to attain more milestones.
“Velvex has been staying ahead of the competition by also establishing its presence in the digital space through the various social media platforms. We are already geared for the future,” said Varadarajan Jothi, International Sales and Marketing Manager. He also provided data about the brand’s growth in the international arena and how Velvex has successfully created a footprint across 15+ countries. The presentations were followed with honouring the best performers with awards and a cultural programme. The event continued the next day with team-building activities and recreation at the fun-filled park. The best distributor award was presented to Amar Auto Store of Uttar Pradesh.
