Under the leadership of CEO Harsh Vardhan Jain, Vinni Chemicals has undergone a significant transformation, expanding beyond coolants and brake fluids into lubricants and greases. This strategic move marks a major step in the company’s growth. In an exclusive interview with MOTORINDIA at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 – Components Show, Jain discusses the company’s innovations, sustainability efforts, and future plans.

Expanding into the B2B Market
Vinni Chemicals has diversified its portfolio, broadening its market reach. “Since we last met, we’ve expanded into B2B business, introducing lubricants and greases alongside our core products like coolants and brake fluids,” Jain shared. The company operates three plants—two for coolants, brake fluids, and additives, and one for greases and lubricants.
Jain emphasized the company’s commitment to high-quality, competitively priced products. “Our goal is to provide solutions where others struggle. We aim to enhance engine performance and system efficiency.”
Adapting to Sustainable Fuels
With the automotive sector shifting towards electrification and alternative fuels like hydrogen and CNG, Jain acknowledged the changing landscape. “EV adoption is rising, but ICE vehicles still dominate. Reducing their environmental impact is critical,” he noted.
Vinni Chemicals plays a key role in this transition. “Our additives help cut NOx emissions by up to 25%, improving fuel efficiency and lowering consumption,” Jain explained. Some customers have reported up to a 22% reduction in carbon footprint.
A Problem-Solving Approach
Vinni Chemicals specializes in addressing engine performance challenges posed by alternative fuels. “Ethanol, methanol, and biodiesel can cause deposit formations and corrosion, reducing efficiency. Our products clean engines without disassembly,” Jain said. The result is cleaner, optimized engines. “We’re restoring engines to their original efficiency from the inside.”
Industry-Wide Adoption
The effectiveness of Vinni Chemicals’ solutions has earned endorsements from leading OEMs like Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland. “Fuel injector manufacturers tested our products for two years before approving them, which led to OEM collaborations,” Jain revealed.
Tata Motors has even branded one of Vinni’s products as its own, underscoring its impact. “They’ve realized that our products significantly enhance engine performance, benefiting the customer directly,” Jain added. Kirloskar Engines has also validated Vinni’s additives, recognizing their contribution to improved engine efficiency.
Commitment to Sustainability
Sustainability is central to Vinni Chemicals’ strategy, both in reducing its own carbon footprint and helping clients achieve their environmental goals. “Sustainability has two aspects—our own initiatives and how we assist others in becoming sustainable,” Jain explained.
By improving engine efficiency and reducing emissions, Vinni Chemicals contributes to a circular economy. “We’re enabling businesses to lower their carbon footprint, aligning with global carbon neutrality goals.”
Future Growth and Global Expansion
With a strong domestic presence, Vinni Chemicals is now eyeing international markets, including Southeast Asia. “We’ve launched Vinni Greases LLP, focused on greases and lubricants, to become a one-stop solution for OEMs and aftermarket players,” Jain stated.
While the company continues to evolve, Jain remains optimistic. “The future is bright, but we must keep adapting. With our focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer-centric solutions, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead.”
Vinni Chemicals’ journey exemplifies how embracing change and sustainability can drive business success, setting a benchmark for the industry.
