Volvo Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, construction equipment, marine and industrial engines, disclosed that deliveries from its truck operations in April 2015 have amounted to 17,715 vehicles. This was an increase of eight per cent compared to that of last year. In April 2015, truck deliveries rose by 24 per cent in Europe and by 18 per cent in North America. Deliveries in South America were down by 42 per cent and that of Asia rose by nine per cent. Overall the group’s wholly-owned operations delivered 17,715 trucks, which was eight per cent more than in April 2014.
