Eicher’s Kolkata dealer opens
one more outlet
Eicher Trucks and Buses inau-
gurated the new authorised service
centre of its Kolkata dealer, Future
Automobile Agency Private Ltd., at
Chamrail in Howrah district. With
this opening, Future Automobile has
now three touch points, one each in
Kolkata, Chamrail and Alampur.
The total number of touch points
for Eicher branded trucks and buses
in West Bengal now stands at 10.
Countrywide it has 240 touch points,
with 18 located in east India.
The new setup is a 2S facility
(service & spares) comprising nine
bays and spanning over 36,000 sq.
feet. The facility has state-of-the-
art fully equipped set-up, with con-
temporary tools and equipment.
The professionally trained team of
Future Automobile has also under-
gone training at the Eicher Training
School in Pithampur.
Addressing the gathering at the
inaugural function, Mr. Vinod Ag-
garwal, Chief Executive Officer,
VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., said:

Eicher is making
steady progress in the
heavy duty trucks seg-
ment. Its market share
in heavy duty trucks
in West Bengal is in-
creasing, and with this new state-of-
the-art facility, it will further keep
the momentum going.
